As we launch our 161st year, I want to thank all those who worked so hard to celebrate the 160th throughout this last year. Beginning with the Anniversary Mass last July, then the Mass of Remembrance, and on to The Feast of the Holy Family. Through the year, we celebrated baptisms and weddings and honored married couples. Today, at the 161st, we are recognizing new families who have just joined the parish. Thank you!!! I’d like to especially thank the staff and all those who worked so hard organizing these events. Most of all, I want to Thank God for the movement of grace in the life of this parish over all its years. When we make God the center of our lives, we realize God’s love and grace are more than enough for us. And when we listen carefully to the Word of God, our imaginations are filled with images and stories of God’s infinite love for us. Every time that we break bread at Mass, we know it is Jesus, the Bread that feeds our souls with the gift of himself and shows his wonderful love for us. We see the mutual love and affection of every parish family, when we see the face of God in strangers. God continues to open our eyes to a deeper reality and another dimension of life. Peace, Fr. Mike
