Florence Margaret “Peggy” McKinney, age 73 of Lake Forest. Beloved wife of John (Jack) for 48 years. Loving mother of Jack (Susan), Matthew (Alexis), Christopher (Jennifer) and Jeffrey (Brianna). Doting grandmother to Jack, Patrick, Claire, Louisa, Theodore and Connell. A proud 1972 graduate of Little Company of Mary Nursing School, Peggy remained at Little Company as a cardiac intensive care nurse. She moved on to become a cardiac catheterization specialist at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey and an emergency room nurse at Columbus Hospital in Chicago before devoting herself full time to her family. Devotion defined Peggy. She dedicated herself to her children, husband, three sisters, mother, nieces, nephews and friends, putting others first, always. She had an eye for design, an ear for music and a loving heart for her precious pups. Survived by her sister Carol (Henry) Burke, she joins her mother Dorothy, sisters Sharon and Rosemary, Aunts Patricia and Margaret, Uncle John and dear friend Caryl. We will miss her forever.

A private Entombment was held at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
