On February 25, 2018, parishioners, friends, and guests enthusiastically listened to Chicago historian, and Holy Family parishioner, Ellen Skerrett, as she shared information and stories from Holy Family's 160 years. Skerrett not only shared information about the beautiful Gothic church, but about the people who have made it a Chicago institution. The Apollo Chorus of Chicago will return to Holy Family Church on Saturday, March 10 at 7:30 pm to present its Choral Classics concert, performing Verdi’s Requiem. On February 6, Fr. Mike celebrated his 60th birthday. The Holy Family community wishes him many more years of health and happiness on this special occasion, and we are grateful for his spiritual leadership and his continued love and support.
